Moonee Valley Football Club wishes to advise of the following senior coaching announcements for the 2024 season.

We are pleased to confirm that Ian Denny will continue as Coach of the Senior Men’s side with Reserves Coach Tom Wilson also recommitting for another year.

In addition, Co-Coaches of the U18 Men’s team – Adam De Pasquale and Luke Micallef – have been reappointed following a successful season.

Dean Rioli has advised the Club that he will be stepping down as Senior Women’s Coach. With his growing business and other various work commitments, Dean unfortunately is not able to fully commit to coaching next year and has made the difficult decision to step down.

Dean has made a massive impact on the Club’s female program and we thank him greatly for his contributions. To lead the senior side to a preliminary final in only their second year in Premier Division was a great achievement and he will be greatly missed.

Co-Coaches of the Div 2 women’s team, Garry Noonan and Paul Wood, have also advised they won’t be continuing for the 2024 season. Having two life members coach our Div 2 side has been a privilege and the playing group have learnt a tremendous amount from them over the past 12 months.

After a difficult season in 2022, the team went all the way to the preliminary final this year only just missing out on a Grand Final appearance. The Club thanks both Gaz and Woody for their time and efforts this year and we look forward seeing them and Dean cheering from sidelines next year.

The Club will now open applications for the Senior Women’s, Div 2 Women’s and U18 girls coaching positions. Those interested are encouraged to submit their resumes to info@mooneevalleyfc.com.au by Sunday, 8 October 2023.
