Moonee Valley FC is pleased to confirm Darcy Brooks and Michael Bourke have recommitted for another season.

MVFC Senior Coach Shanon Carroll said: "One of the stabilizers in our backline, Bourkey is a player that opposition forwards dread to see walk towards them at the start of a game. He can play on both short and tall forwards making him a very handy player to have.

"The ability to read the play well and be third man up in a contest as well as his defensive closing speed are some of the reasons we are so happy to have him back on board for season 2021.

"One thing you can bank on with Darcy is when the ball needs to be won it won’t matter what is in his way. A player that loves to get under the skin of the opposition verbally, he will always back it up with his ability to intercept and become very dangerous no matter which end of the ground he is playing.
