Moonee Valley is pleased to confirm the Club will field a reserves women’s side in 2020 following a terrific inaugural year by the Senior Women who made the semi-final going down by single point to Maribyrnong Park.

Women’s football is growing at a rapid pace with the Club having already established a successful junior girls program claiming three premierships in 2019 (U11s, U13s and U15s).

Senior Coach Paul Edwards and Assistant Coach Brad Sammut have done a terrific job recruiting over the off-season in order to gain enough numbers for two sides.

Headlining the list of new recruits are Christie Roberts (Keilor), Affinity Miller (Avondale Heights), Nicole Chiera (West Meadows), Sophie Freeman (Keilor) and Anita Overden (Preston Bullants).
